Conor earned a degree in Journalism from Penn State University in 2010. His illustrious writing career began in earnest at a small Pennsyltuckian paper in the middle of nowhere. After winning two Associated Press awards for investigative and spot reporting, he finally realized the newspaper industry wasn't dying..it was dead. He has since begun a more stable and lucrative career at an advertising agency.
He once thought all his hopes and dreams of becoming a sports writer were dead, but then he found Bleacher Report. He really likes sports, why else would he be here. Follow him on Twitter @Conor_OBrien2 and join the conversation.
Hey there new fan. I see you went to Penn State...and I actually *just* read something about a lack of respect for the one-time PSU/PITT rivalry in Happy Valley...which hurts me a little, as a PITT graduate. But I suppose my Panthers just suck at life these days, so I'm getting used to it :( Anyway! Thanks for fanning me—naturally I've returned the favor. <3
Thanks for becoming a fan, Conor! I really appreciate it. Also, terrific piece about Amar'e! The whole fire extinguisher incident bothers me to no end, but it looks like he's going to be in the lineup to day for the Knicks, so maybe he can help them get at least one victory against the blazing Heat.
Trade Amare is fine but sign Nash & attached Lin w/trade. ...you should attach youself not Lin, a rising star. Stupid!!!
Hey, Conor, thanks a lot for the kudos. It means a lot that you liked my articles enough to add me to your impressive list of favorite writers.
