Saif Syed Omar

Saif Syed Omar

Well, as I've been on B/R for over a month now, I decided I should update my profile, which was a mere one-liner to something more about myself... So... here goes... retaining my old one-liner... Saif Syed Omar is an avid Manchester United fan who is currently pursuing his studies in the United States of America, New Jersey to be more precise...

Apart from the love for Manchester United, Saif enjoys reading about football (well I'll leave soccer to my American friends), watching football and ofcourse, more than anything, playing the beautiful game. Saif played as a center-back in school (not a pro), but because of reasons not very obvious to you guys, he had to switch positions and play at right back... Saif currently plays as a holding midfielder and you definitely wouldnt want to mess with him ;)

On a more serious note, well apparently, apart from writing on B/R in his free time, Saif loves to hang around with friends doing nothing, surfing the net and chatting away to glory. At B/R Saif hopes to preach his mantra of the Premier League and anything to do with Manchester United... And yes, do rate his work without fail, he loves those stars and POTDs...

To be updated again shortly...

It's a tiny bit late as it took longer than expected to write it, but my review of 2009 is finally here! Last year's one won the AOTD award and hopefully I've done enough on this one to equal that feat, but I'll leave you to be the judge of that!

With 25 great moments from 12 different sports, and with everyone from Barcelona to France, the Yankees to the Lakers, and Usain Bolt to Tiger Woods there is something for everyone in this slideshow, plus a ranked top ten as the final slide!

If you get a chance would you mind checking it out? Cheers!

Wassup. You may or may not know, but I'm the best United writer on here. So read this stuff. I published four articles today, at once, after several days work. They can all be found here: You'll see. Will you read, and comment if you are compelled? Cheers

Following up yesterday's great debate is the one I've been waiting to write for a long time, and the one I think may be the best debate yet and a must-read for any football fan! Should video technology be introduced into football? Would doing so take away from the 'magic' that makes the game so great? And would it help or hinder the referees? Have your say in the Great Debate!

Hey Saif, in what I hope to be a new feature to the site, I've written a comprehensive biography of France Legend Michel Platini, it's long so I can understand if you don't have the time to look at it but otherwise I'd really appreciate your opinion on it.

Usain Bolt has left the world speechless again, but how does his Berlin performance compare to that of Jesse Owens 73 years earlier? Have a look, comment, and rate if you have the time!
