My name is Sam Tastad, and I'll be a junior at the University of Sioux Falls. I enjoy writing about sports, and reading about sports. I am studying journalism, and hope to someday write professionally as a sports writer. I also enjoy participating in fantasy leagues. I really love sports, but I have a greater love for my Lord, and Savior Jesus Christ.

I am a former B/R intern, an avid Green Bay Packers fan, along with the Minnesota Twins and Minnesota Timberwolves. I also like the Michigan Wolverines and Duke Blue Devils.

    Hey Sam,

Ryan Zimmerman’s hit streak halted at 30 games last night. As one streak ends, another is admired. Read about how Joe DiMaggio forever redefined ’56,’ and how his feat may never be broken. It is a record that thankfully cannot be broken through steroid use, and represents all that was once right in a game that has since gone so wrong.

    Thanks in advance!
