My name is Blake, and basketball is my absolute favorite sport with the Sacramento Kings being the reason I got into writing. I attended California State University, Chico, or Chico State as it is more commonly know on UPD, and graduated with a bachelors degree in journalism. While in Chico I worked for The Orion, the Chico State student newspaper, as a writer, assistant editor, copy editor and section editor all for Sports.

I also DJ'd for KCSC Radio, the student owned and operated radio station based on the Internet. I won best New Music Show my first semester and Best Free Form Show in my final semester at the station. Music is a close second for things that really grab my interest.
