I'm a Penn State grad and hopelessly attracted to teams that break my heart. Linebackers, MLB catchers, and proper punctuation are my life's blood.
Decided to do a new piece on some interesting NFL logos...check it out if you have time, thanks!

Monica,
You were the first person to ever edit an article of mine on B/R. I noted you were a Pirates fan and never forgot that. After browsing my archives I found the article you edited which led me to your page. Anyway, I recently wrote the following article you may want to read:
Recent trades should have pirate fans rethinking McLouth outrage

Let me know what you think of it.
it has a lot of early Pirates memories on my behalf when I was growing up (and they were good) was well as current times and 2 recent trades the team made in 2008 under new GM Hunnington. While I get tired of the "long-term goal" rhetoric I liked each deal I describe at the time and it looks like he knowsn what he's doing even if he does have to keep going back through the media and spinning his moves in order to justify them to an always-angry fanbase.
Joe
hey,
This has me really upset, and its an issue that more people need to hear about. Your input would be greatly appreciated.

One of my basic theories is Penn State is a boring Big Ten basketball school living in Big East country. What top recruit from the Northeast would want to play boring Big Ten basketball when they could play in the Big East?
Hmmm this conversation about Penn State has reminded me about an idea I had that I never wrote about. I've been meaning to pen a piece about whether PSU will ever be relevant in college basketball.
Never actually been to Penn State. I always had a hatred for the school. I plan on coming down for the Syracuse-PSU football game to cover it.
And your logic about Chase Utley is valid.
I'm in PA ALLLL summer unfortunately. May take a trip to NYC or Syracuse this summer, but I'm here til August unfortunately. After graduation, I've been mulling the idea of picking up and going to LA, try to cover UCLA basketball, and try to land a job with Fox, CBS, or ESPN who all have headquarters out there.
I've got friends who have been Denver, always seemed like a nice place.
Never rode SEPTA once in my life. Don't think I'm loyal to east coast sports, just Philadelphia...New York and Boston can fall off into the ocean as far as I'm concerned.
Chase Utley is a stud...on the baseball field...I feel as if we might have different definitions of stud. If you are done with Penn State in August, what are your plans afterward?
