A freshman at Roger Williams University in Rhode Island, Geordy originally hails from New Jersey. Some consider him geographically challenged, seeing as he is a die-hard Green Bay Packers fan and an aficionado of the Cleveland Indians and raised in an Ohio State household. Rarely getting to see his favorite teams play live, Geordy still backs them through thick and thin.

    I don't know who was more nervous when Kipnis got called up: him or me. Haha. After talking him up for basically a year i was afraid he'd get off to a slow start and I'd have to keep telling people he'd be great. A walk-off hit and 4 homers in 4 games later, now everyone knows what I know: we're in such great shape with Kipnis going forward.
