Jim Cavan is a freelance writer whose work has appeared at the New York Times,, Grantland, The Classical, SB Nation, The Cauldron and Narratively, among other outlets. He is a 2005 graduate of the University of New Hampshire, where he majored in Philosophy and spent an inordinate amount of time trying to figure out how to make a living with a degree in Philosophy. He eventually figured it out. He thinks.

His first book, co-written with a team of fellow Knicks bloggers, is "We'll Always Have Linsanity: Strange Takes on the Strangest Season in Knicks History". It is, in the words of one Amazon reviewer, "CLICK HERE TO START MAKING $2,000 A DAY FROM THE COMFORT OF YOUR OWN HOME."

Augustin and Kirk Hinrich call-up ready ought to be seen as a boon, rather than a burden:" Didn't DJ Augustin sign with the Detroit Pistons last week for 2 years at 6 mil?
