hink that you should write more on this topic, it might not be a taboo subject but generally people are not enough to speak on such palio topics. To the next. Cheers

Okay... I am french and I speak fluent english (or I hope I do, for you to judge).
in the word of politics it is known that you do a diservice to yourself when you try to explain something in a foreign language. That is the reason why you would rarely hear politicians speak in english language (even if they are fluent)....
    Anyway now my point.
I have just seen the interview and his english is shit and perhaps he is not much better at expressing his idea in french. I don't mean he has a bad french as I can tell from his accent that was born in france or arrived at an early age.
What I mean is that some people are not good at expressing their ideas and I think he is one of them.
Okay, now... what I understand from what he is saying is that he says
"second knee in the ball was not an accident" but he carries on to say it was not in the balls.
So as far I can hear he is saying that "last knee in the ball" was not a knee in the ball... but the way he says it is very difficult to defend, I must say.
Perhaps it is difficult to be clear when you lie (some may say)

if anything you can judge his poor english and the fact that he stupid to think that he is not fluent in english and should not take interviews to explain in a foreign language.
That's is not fair. Again I am not saying he is not a dirty figher, I am saying that in this interview he obviously thinks he is fluent in english when it is very very very far the case.
The dirty man in this to me is the interviewer... he's "code of conduct" should have step in and ask him to explain and repeat what he has just said.
I hope I am clear enough.

You're welcome, Nick! In regards to the serial comma, it is a combination of B/R and AP Style guidelines to remove the comma prior to the coordinating conjunction when it comes to a series of items. I hope that I have been able to answer your question, if not, please let me know.
