Your last article you have Derek Anderson as the starting guard for Ohio state best all star team. He played for Kentucky. Please do not write anymore Ohio state articles. Shocker it came from a purdue fan.

You obviously do not know much about basketball. UK has actually sent its entire team to the Olympics and won a gold medal. UCLA did not. UCLA players admitted to being the second best paid team in California behind the Lakers. After the NCAA statute of limitations ran out on punishment for recruiting violations Bill Walton made statements that had they been timely would have erased at least 4 NCAA championships. Realistically UK has had more championships over a longer period of time than UCLA. The NIT was the premiere end of year playoffs before the NCAA even came into existence.
To play in the Big Apple at the end of the year was the epitimy of the sport. Adolph Rupp even passed on at least one early invitation from the NCAA to play in the NIT.
Storied progams are not about an admittedly long series of championships with paid players. It is about history. Look up the word.
I would put North Carolina, Kansas and Indiana ahead of UCLA as "storied" programs.
You say UCLA is on the way back. That statment proves it is not what you say it is. And calling the NCAA basketball trophy the Wooden Trophy is shameful. Not that he was a great coach, it is how his players and supporters broke NCAA rules.

Btw, how could Uconn be considered overrated if they were picked to finish 10th preseason in the Big East?

And who said they would win the Big East.

12-0 out of conference, RPI 4.

Sounds like a tough squad to beat come March.

Underrated is what it sounds like to me.

Uconn men's hoops is really overrated! Ha, good call with that a few week back! One man show, yeah I don't think so.....Start considering them a threat to win the whole thing! They have one of the best freshman recruiting classes in the country, a stifling defense, and great low post scoring from Oriakhi. I'd think twice before considering a Jim Calhoun coached team an overachieving team, you lose your credibility.

    See ya in March!

Put purdue on your list of overachieving teams due for a drop off, they just proved it tonight when they played a top 25 caliber team

People are somehow blaming Peyton Manning for the Colts loss to the Jets.
