Bleacher Report Quality Editor
-----
Quality editors provide the final edit on all content bound for B/R’s highest-visibility channels. Their edits are more intensive than copy edits, at times requiring wholesale changes and collaboration across teams to ensure each article delivers on the aforementioned quality standards.
By elevating standards on B/R’s highest-traffic locales, the quality editing team is striving to raise the bar on content site-wide, with the hope that their enhanced scrutiny on a fraction of articles is eventually the norm.
I've worked for B/R since June 2008 and am continually impressed at the site's growth. When I'm not editing for B/R, I root for the Mariners to find successful stability, for the Seahawks and Pete Carroll to be perennial Super Bowl contenders, for Washington Huskies football to take the next step to elite status under Chris Petersen, for Washington Huskies men's basketball to fight back toward tourney status, and for the NBA to die a slow, painful death as punishment for stealing the Sonics and breaking the heart of every Seattle sports fan (at least until the city gets another NBA franchise).
Oh, and I'm also learning the ropes of fatherhood as I watch my amazing son grow up.
Just wanted to point about today's MayPac power brokers piece... none of it was from Dan Rafael. The Plepler information was straight from Ray Stallone at HBO.
Thanks for the edits, pal.
Thank you for salvaging my piece.
By far the most detailed editor at B/R.
Hey, Mosang. You said you see 665-611 as Ron Washington's managerial record, but it's 665-613 according to his Baseball-Reference managerial page, so I'm curious as to where you got your number from.
Thanks as always for the hard work combing through my power rankings Mosang, always appreciate it.
Thanks for the help, Mosang. I appreciate it.
Thanks, Mosang. I was going in to get the dome reference when you took hold. Sorry about the stat format, I looked back at an older slider for reference and it was done the way I had it before your changes. Now I know. Thanks!
Thanks for your edit and comments. They were very helpful.
Thanks for the extra edits! Much appreciated.
Brugler must have switched it legit hours after I posted the article haha. Just saw it was updated sometime today.
For Latimer's height, I actually was going off Gary Davenport's B/R write-up, that why I had it listed there as that. Appreciate the tweak to 6'2".
Thanks again,
GK
