A passionate baseball fan, Matt delivers commentary using both statistical analysis and old-fashioned scouting. At the Bleacher Report and on his blog (www.mygirlfriendhatesbaseball.blogspot.com), he tells it like he sees it and isn't afraid of offering strong opinions.
Hey, the second article of my new series deals with Craig Biggio and his 3000th career hit. Check it out if you get a chance:

Hey Matt,
Just checking through some of your stuff - between BR and MGFHBB - overall, it's fairly solid. You should definitely try to write more frequently.
Keep it up,
Brandon

40,000 reads on the Banister article—you really blew this one out of the water Matt. Congrats!
Keep up the great work,

Congratulations Matt, it turns out your article is linked to the front page of Foxsports.com. Well done! Don't ignore the role that your headline played in this. See what keywords in the right place can do? Keep up the great work!
Hey Mat the Cat, nothing personal about the banter I hope. Its just debate dude, and you can call me Pat. I am not trying to be a foe to anyone, but think it a little disingenious to say that Cano or Cabrera would never be considered in addition to all the excellent prospect on NY.
I linked the Halladay articles with his direct quotes to my piece - I am not making it up or lying. IF TOR is talking trades then NY ought to be involved. In the future TOR could face Roy with LA while paying in the WSC - would that be better?
It is all about what team benefits TOR more with talent vs. pay check - LA or NY? Its a valid article, and I didnt say I thought Cano should be traded, I said he could be if NY wanted to but with CC a FA this offseason they may not care enough to do it.
The SP is not the issue. They fixed most of the problem already and still are incomplete because of injuries.
