Former Baseball player Rich Perez is an established TV and Radio sportscaster out of Las Vegas, Nevada who has been associated with many organizations in his long career. The Los Angeles Rams, Dallas Cowboys, Minnesota Vikings, Detroit Lions, Oakland Raiders, San Diego Chargers, Arizona Cardinals and Denver Broncos in the NFL, University of Hawaii Football, University of Notre Dame Football, Iowa State Football, UCLA Bruins, USC Trojans and UNLV Rebels in NCAA, Colorado Rockies, San Francisco Giants, Houston Astros, Los Angeles Dodgers in MLB and has announced more than 600 professional championship boxing matches for Don King and CMX in Las Vegas, Los Angeles and Mexico. Perez was 2004 announcer for the Harlem Globetrotters. Rich Perez had spent 1995 thru 2007 as NBA summer league announcer in Long Beach and Las Vegas. Perez has also a thriving acting career in Hollywood. Rich Perez also is host of a national sports radio program with Joey Browner (Vikings) and has covered numerous Pro Bowls and Super Bowls. Perez has been associated with many superstar athletes in the past such as recently in Mike Tyson & Manny Pacquio, past: Sam Hill, Darryl Talley, Mark Clayton, Rick Upchurch, Karl Mecklenburg, Joe Sambito, Al Hrabosky, Gary Carter, Dick Drago, Tom Goodwin, Ray Crockett, Joey Browner, Ross Browner, Max Starks, Peyton Manning, LaDanian Tomlinson, Marcus Allen, Jellybean Joe Bryant, Kobe Bryant, LeBron James, Mark Lemke, Al Hrabosky and Marcus Dupree. Rich's neighbor growing up was Andy Reid, Head Coach of the Eagles. Rich Perez has strong MLB/NBA/NFL ties in each organization. Today Rich is also known as one of the nations leading handicappers out of Las Vegas as he has made some bold predictions over the years that have come in such as the Giants beating the Patriots by 3 in the 2008 Super Bowl, 7 months earlier, on Fox Sports Net National radio!!! Rich Perez is the father of late LCpl USMC Richard Perez Jr who was lost in Iraq in 2005. Also is the father of a top USA college gymnast in Arizona State Gymnast Risa Perez (2012-2016) and two other daughters Richelle in Las Vegas and Rheanne in Denver. Rich is married 28 years and has 4 grandchildren. Rich is also the son of the late 1955 Flyweight Boxing Champion Carl "Peppy" Perez out of Los Angeles. Perez can be heard on occasion with his long time radio partner the great Vikings star Joey Browner and Dolphins star Mark Clayton. Perez also has 12 years of high school coaching in Los Angeles mostly at Franklin High School where they won the City Title in 1989, but lately in 2012 with Arleta High School leading them to the playoffs before returning to Las Vegas with College Coaching next on his plate. Perez is associated with many Cities predominantly Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Honolulu, Phoenix and Denver. Due to NFL network commitments Perez will not be writing any more articles for B/R but you can review his past articles very accurate in his commentary.

    Rich great to see you've taken the road to the Majors again as Coach, keep up the good work at Arleta, Condolences again as this country owes you and your family a great respect in your late sons deeds serving us in the USMC in Iraq. Also congratulations to your daughter on her ASU Gymnastics for 2012 she will love ASU. We will miss you in the pressbox and on the air. GO DODGERS!

    Rich, first off, if you are going to write for others to read, please do a spell check and grammar check so that you do not come off as looking ignorant. And next, do some fact checking. Bobby Hauck coached at Montana, not Montana State. Give the guy some time. It's three games into the season.
