Will Undertaker Become World Champion Again?

As all of you Undertaker fans know, for two consecutive years, The Phenom won the World Heavyweight Championship at the Granddaddy of them all, WrestleMania. However, as you all know, his title reigns had been cut short due to injury.

Now, with the Royal Rumble on January 25th kicking off the road to WrestleMania 25, which is in his hometown of Houston, Texas, and with Taker in very good shape, it is possible that he will win the Royal Rumble match and go on to win the title, be it WWE or World Heavyweight, for the third consecutive time at Mania, which would make two new records for him to boast of other than the Streak.

If The Deadman does win the Rumble, then who would he face at Mania? It is very likely that, unless JBL does something about it, Shawn Michaels will win Monday's Fatal Four Way Elimination Match, then go on to defeat John Cena for the World Heavyweight Championship at Royal Rumble, then go on to face Taker in what is sure to be the greatest Mania World Title match of all time. Now that is a dream match, 11 years in the making.

Then there is the current WWE Champion, Jeff Hardy. First off, let me say congratulations to Jeff for finally winning his first World Title after years of hard work in and out of WWE. He definitely deserves it.

Now a Taker vs. Hardy match at Mania would make as much of a dream match as Taker vs. HBK.

Two completely different styles clashing against each other usually makes for a great match, and these two have been involved in classic matches together, like a Ladder Match back in 2002 and an Extreme Rules Match back in November, even though the ending of the Extreme Rules Match was pretty weak.

Now just imagine a TLC Match between these two at Mania. That would truly be a classic.

As I said before, winning the title at Mania would make two new records to sit next to the Streak. This will make Taker the man with the most title wins at Mania (4), and this will also make him the only man to win a World Title on three consecutive Manias.

Plus, if he stays healthy, this will kick off his yearlong title reign we Undertaker fans have been waiting for!
