Arda Turan to Liverpool: Could this become reality?

You will not be forgiven in case you haven't heard about Liverpool and Arda Turan love saga.

Just in case any fans are living under rocks and haven't got a clue what's going on here, let me refresh your memories.

Arda Turan—the current Galatasaray captain and left winger—had been linked to a move to Liverpool in almost every transfer window in the last year and a half.

Rafa Benitez was said to be interested in bringing the 24-year-old Turkish delight to Anfield in 2009, and since then, Liverpool fans have been begging to see him in the famous Red shirt at Anfield.

A few months ago Turan made clear that he will only move to Liverpool—if at all—in the future if he decides to move to Europe.

"As I always mention, Liverpool attracts me because of their tradition. In Europe, I am a Liverpool supporter so if I go to play in Europe I'd like to play for them"—were the words which made him an affectionate figure at Anfield even before he could play for the club.

After that, nothing really happened between the two love birds—Liverpool and Turan—but Galatasaray did reject two bids made for Turan last summer.

One was from Harry Redknepp—£10 million plus Giovanni Dos Santos—and another from Athletico Madrid for about £11 million.
