I can understand wanting to get rid of Milton Bradley.

He was a true downer in the locker room, and quite possibly one of the main reasons the Chicago Cubs had such a bad year.  I know, it is quite a large statement to blame a poor season on one man, but after the way he treated the fans last season, I can only imagine how it felt to be in a locker room with the man.

Either way, I don't think Silva is the answer.

He only started in 6 games last season with an 8.60 ERA.  In 2008 while making 28 starts went 4-15 with a 6.46 ERA.  Is this who will be filling the void in our defunct starting rotation?  Thanks Jim Hendry for picking up a 25 million dollar contract on what is officially the worst ERA in our starting line up.

If this is what we have to look forward to until spring, a bunch of half hearted pick ups and blogs about the "first lesbian baseball owner" I might have to seriously consider a boycott.
