Dear respective members of the Baseball Writers Association of America,

Hello, my name is Matthew David Louis 'The Threat' Foote. I am writing to you on behalf of one baseball player that deserved something that you denied him wrongfully.

Jose Canseco. Mr. Canseco who used performance enhancing drugs his entire baseball career has been shunned from the Hall Of Fame, after receiving only 1.1 percent of the votes. I don't believe this is right at all. Mr. Canseco changed baseball. Without him, who knows were baseball would be with performance enhancing drugs like testosterone, HGH, and such?

Mr.Canseco took it upon himself to right baseball by publishing the book Juiced: Wild Times, Rampant 'Roids, Smash Hits & How Baseball Got Big, which detailed players who had used performance enhancing drugs during their Major League Baseball career's.

Many say steroids are wrong. I am on that list that agrees, as do most of your respectful members in the BBWAA. Jose left an ever present footprint on baseball. When our future generations look back in time, I believe 10 baseball players will stand out. Babe Ruth, Hank Aaron, Albert Pujols, Alex Rodriguez, Stan Musial, Cy Young, Rickey Henderson, Jackie Robinson, Ozzie Smith, and Jose Canseco. Each left a print on baseball, whether it be through power, speed, dominating mound presence, fielding, steroids, or overall greatness.

Jose Canseco has an impressive list of awards 6x All-Star selection (1986, 1988, 1989, 1990, 1992, 1999), 2x World Series champion (1989, 2000), 4x Silver Slugger winner (1988, 1990, 1991, 1998), 1988 American League MVP, 1986 American League Rookie Of The Year, 1994 American League Comeback Player Of The Year. The only one missing is Hall Of Fame member. Hopefully the National Baseball Hall of Fame Committee on Baseball Veterans can get it right.

In closing I would like to remind you that it's not just great players and officials, it's also men and women who changed the game that deserve the Hall Of Fame.
